Co-produced with artist Michele Pred, this parade took place the week before midterm elections in November 2019. Politically motivated artists were invited to bring their projects out of galleries and studios and onto the streets of NYC with a joyful display of self-expression and an urgent call to vote. I am pictured wearing my Pussy-grabber Justice Skirt. Michele sports her “My Body My Business” bulletproof vest. Other participating artists include Ann Lewis, Ayana Evans, Bud Snow, Christen Clifford, Ebony Brown, Holly Ballard Martz, Krista Suh, Michelle Hartney, Shireen Liane, and many more!

In response to Time’s Up and Me Too movements, Michele Pred organized Parade Against Patriarchy for Miami Art Week. I participated with my Mother Destroyer of Obstacles Processional Banner. This hybrid goddess, featured with the head of an elephant, is stamping out patriarchy, racism, misogyny, hate, and intolerance.
